The enclosures should consist of:

  • A summary Registration Form the details of which will be held on our records if we progress with your application, the registration form is available in both Microsoft Word (.DOC) and Adobe PDF (.PDF) formats:

  • Your own written application on no more than 2 sides of A4, with a minimum point size 10. This section will provide a full overview of your organisation and its current activities in addition to details of the project which requires funding.

  • Your application is more likely to be successful if you fully disclose all relevant information so that the Trustees have a clear understanding of where our grant would fit into your overall funding strategy. For guidance, the following questions are examples of the kind of information we would like to receive:

    • Who are you and what are your principal activities or employment?
    • What work do you want to do with the grant funds and what do you hope to achieve?
    • Why are you wanting to do this work and why now?
    • Who will be involved in the project?
    • How does the work fit in with the organisation’s normal activities?
    • Will the work create, or continue to provide, sustainable benefits?
    • What other funding applications have been made for this project and how successful have they been? What applications are pending for the project?
    • How will the work be documented and evaluated?

  • Please note that sending huge quantities of paperwork with your application does not constitute full disclosure and any excess may increase the chances of confusion and the consequent need for clarification. The Trustees wish to see only relevant, concise and clear information to help them make a decision.
