Applications for funding will be unsuccessful if your organisation or project:
- Does not have charitable status or have access to charitable status.
- Is involved in any political activities, even if the political affiliation wishes to represent a charitable area of interest to this trust.
- Is for personal support of individuals in need. All grants are made via local community projects and organisations.
- Is based overseas.
- Is involved in any religious activities, missionary or faith. The only exception may be to assist the funding of overseas disaster aid where the religious affiliation is a coordinator of the disastor recovery.
- Work in mainstream education and any other area where we believe funding should be made from statutory sources.
- Is for any retrospective funding.
- Is for student gap year travel expenses, whether or not for education purposes.
- Is a large and national fund raising body, unless specifically working in the Yorkshire area.
