The Brelms Trust will NOT under any circumstances give funding to:
- Any organisation based outside the UK or without charitable status registered at the Charities Commission. Applications received from overseas organisations will not be considered.
- Applications for grants outside of Yorkshire.
- Political organisations of any kind, even if the activities are involved with charitable projects.
- Applications from individuals or student gap year costs. All grants are made via local community projects and organisations.
- Organisations which promote religion or religious activities of any kind, as evidenced in their objects and project work.
- Work in mainstream education or any other statutory agencies.
- Project work which has already been completed and requires retrospective funding.
- Large and national charitable organisations unless specifically working in the Yorkshire area and providing evidence of local control and access to the grant.
